I was struck by lightning as a young woman — a shamanic initiation recognized across cultures as a marking by elemental force. I have crossed the threshold between life and death multiple times. This opened my sight. I see what others cannot. I paint what I see between worlds.
My work emerges through deep listening — to the land, to the unseen realm, to what wants to become visible through symbol and colour. I do not "make" paintings. I receive transmissions and give them form.
The blue symbols in From the Cave of Symbols arrived during my mother's death. They carry medicine for grief, stillness, and the slow return to peace after profound loss. Each painting is an altar — a site of encounter where the invisible becomes felt.
I offer shamanic healing for those ready to face the chamber of their own wounds. I track ancestral patterns, embodied trauma, and soul-level recalibration. I have been to my own depths many times and can hold space for others willing to go there.
I work with fire ceremony, energetic attunement, and the frequencies held in colour and form. My paintings are placed ceremonially — not as decoration, but as sacred objects that shift the resonance of a space.
I live and work in Somerset, England, in the mythic landscape of Avalon, where the land still speaks to those who listen.
This is not art for art's sake. This is transmission work. It is what the lightning opened in me, refined through four decades of practice, offered to those ready to receive it.
