I create contemporary sanctuaries.

These paintings hold stillness in the way ancient sacred sites do. They ask to be experienced, felt in the body, and met with presence. They become places of stillness, where a deeper sense of peace can emerge.

Working with oil paint on linen, canvas and walls, I build each piece slowly through deep listening. Layer by layer, symbols, colour and form reveal themselves, until the painting knows it is complete.
